  • Air France Flight 777, an Airbus A330-200, takes off from Rio airport with 216 passengers were on board, including 7 children and one baby, and 12 crews at May 31, 22.03 GMT.
  • At June 1, 09.10 GMT - Plane due to land in Paris, but never arrives. Half an hour later, Air France announces the plane is missing.
  • The plane was an Airbus 330-200 (EAD.PA) powered with General Electric (GE.N) engines. If the plane is confirmed to have crashed, it would be the first time an A330 has been lost during an operational airline flight.
  • The pilots were highly experienced said Air France.
  • Brazilian military planes found wreckage on Tuesday from an Air France jet that crashed in the Atlantic Ocean with 228 people aboard, the airline's worst disaster in its 75-year history.
  • All 228 people aboard thought to be dead.

    This is not an accident ?!
    Air France jet with 228 people on board is feared to have crashed in the ocean off the coast of Brazil.
    Heard this on the radio earlier on my way back home from the mall. Air France flight AF 447 from Rio de Janeiro to Paris disappeared from the radar while flying over the Atlantic Ocean.
